Divine announce some of their Chocolate Week activities

Friday 12th August

Divine Chocolate, the farmer owned fairtrade chocolate company and sponsor of Chocolate Week since 2003 have announced some of their plans for the week. Divine and The Gore Hotel in Kensington have created the UK’s first ever Divine Chocolate Board. A sensory experience where the diner chooses three different flavours of Divine chocolate to taste, to which is added a scoop of Divine ice-cream, Divine chocolate truffles and fresh berries, the chocolate board concept which makes a tempting alternative to a cheese board.

Famous faces in the food world have created Divine recipes for Chocolate Week including top bakers Mary Berry and Lorraine Pascale along with Gregg Wallace. The legendary Mary Berry has created a Velvet Chocolate Torte, presenter of BBC’s Baking Made Easy Lorraine Pascale has created a Dark Chocolate & Raspberry Swirl Cheesecake and Masterchef star Gregg Wallace has created a chocolate and cherry cake.

Other highlights include a Divine Afternoon Tea in The Orangery at Kensington Palace, Divine dim sum at The Grosvenor Hotel, one-off Divine cocktails at The Sanderson and K West Lounge hotels, Divine puds at The Widmouth Manor Hotel in Cornwall and Terre a Terre in Brighton.
